Service Description
Basic Throwing introduces all of the basic skills necessary to throw on a pottery wheel: clay prep, centering, pulling clay, trimming leather hard clay, attaching handles, and basic glazing techniques. In addition to experiencing the steps necessary to take a piece of clay to a finished product, students will be introduced to types of clay, and form and function of shapes.
